W.J. (Bill) Smith is a lifelong resident of Seattle, Washington and has resided in the Center of the Universe (Fremont, Washington) for the last twenty years with his wife Elaine, son Chad and approximately 400 of their neighbors cats.

He has been working within Criminal Justice Systems since the ripe old age of 19, beginning in the Military.

He has worked within City, State, Federal and a Not-For-Profit Criminal Investigations Organization and served as an independent consultant for various entities to include law firms and law enforcement.

He has cartooned since 1973.
